Casa Feliz Cakes and Pastries is in Concepcion, Marikina City. Since their name says pastries, we were expecting cakes and perhaps coffee only. Surprisingly, they also serve rice meals, sisig, pizza, pasta and more. The place is very laid back. They have a nice setting with a pond and great interiors and exteriors.
Aside from the good food and ambiance, what amazed me the most was their deaf mute waiters. They may have not spoken anything while they served food but definitely a smile from the heart said it all..
So ok, after that tasty late breakfast, we went to SM Marikina to buy some stuff. Perhaps Gela and I didn't want to end the day without trying out the food in Cafe Lidia. And because strolling and window shopping made us hungry again, we headed back to Calumpang where the Cafe is located.
The cafe welcomed us with the aroma of coffee. I caught myself smiling with the array of cakes while heading to our table. The setting was cozy and low lit, making it conducive for a "me time". We ordered penne in tomato and beef lasagna and had two different chocolate cakes. It was a sumptuous meal at a very affordable price so overall the dining experience was great. Too bad i didn't take much photos as i could. And this i say to Cafe Lidia, we shall return..
